FAMILY SUPPORT GROUP
for family members of patients with schizophrenia

This group is for families with a relative with a newly diagnosed brain disease which causes psychosis.  Family members are provided a supportive environment in which they can ask questions about their relative's illness and the different treatment options and to discuss the research being conducted at the Imaging Research Center.   There are opportunities  to connect with others with relatives with mental illness

General Directions

From the South (Stockton):  Follow Highway 99 to Business 80, Reno.  Exit at T Street.  Turn right on T Street toward Stockton Blvd. Turn right on Stockton Blvd.

From the East (Placerville):  Take Highway 50 to Stockton Blvd exit. Turn left on Stockton Blvd.

From the North and West (Redding, Reno, Davis):  Take Business 80 to Highway 50 (Placerville). Exit on 34th Street.  turn left on 34th Street.  Turn right on T Street. Turn right on Stockton Blvd.

Directions from Stockton Blvd
Turn left on X Street.  Follow X Street through one traffic light. Next you will come to a driving circle.  Drive 3/4 of the way around the circle and make a right onto 48th Street.  The Imaging Research Center is on this corner on your left. Make an immediate left into the Imaging Research Center's parking lot. You may park right in front of the Imaging Center in one of the "Patient Parking" spots.  If there is not parking here, turn left onto 48th Street out of the Imaging Center parking lot and make a right or left turn onto V Street. Please be aware that street parking is only 2 hours.
