Celebrate Recovery with NAMI Yolo County!

Renew your energy with us this Mental Illness Awareness Week. There are opportunities throughout the week for you to check in, share your story, and engage with the greater Yolo County Mental Health Community.

Celebrate the hope we have that everyone who experiences a mental health condition finds the services, support and resources necessary to live in recovery on Tuesday, October 8th from 12:00 – 1:00 pm at The Episcopal Church of Saint Martin in Davis. We hope you’ll also plan to stay with us for the reception that will follow from 1:00 – 2:00 pm.

Get energized at our annual Rally for Recovery, Wednesday, October 9th from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Heritage Plaza in Woodland. Supervisor Don Saylor will present this year’s Mental Illness Awareness Week Proclamation, we’ll be honoring outstanding contributions to the mental health community, and sharing our stories in an Open Mic.

Give your feedback regarding Mental Health Service Act spending at the MHSA Townhall, Thursday, October 10th from 6:00 – 7:00 pm at the City Hall Galleria in West Sacramento. Learn about MHSA spending and share your ideas with county officials.

Get involved in the efforts to sustain Pine Tree Gardens East and Pine Tree Gardens West — Yolo County’s only remaining Board and Care facilities serving adults living with a serious mental illness. The Save Pine Tree Gardens Committee is hosting a fundraiser Saturday, October 12th from 5:00 – 8:00 pm. To purchase tickets ($40) or find out more contact petrea@conserosolutions.com
