Mental Illness Awareness Week

Cosponsored by Save Pine Tree Gardens Committee

NAMI Yolo County is hosting Mental Illness Awareness Week October 5 – 10, 2020 as part of the annual national campaign to educate, fight stigma, and empower our community. NAMI Yolo County has teamed up with the Save Pine Tree Gardens Committee and the UC Davis Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion to promote virtual events during the week and raise money to fund landscaping improvements at two Davis homes for adults living with mental illness, Pine Tree Gardens East and West.

We invite you to participate in learning more about local resources available to assist with these concerns and to celebrate the resilience of individuals and families affected by mental health challenges.

Want to help? Join NAMI-Yolo as a member or volunteer, donate to the Save Pine Tree Garden’s fundraising campaign to landscape the backyards at Pine Tree Gardens East or West, or register for free one time only on Eventbrite to receive the links to participate in all of the following Mental Illness Awareness Week events.
